HOW DID YOU FIND OUT ABOUT SBK TRAINING ACADEMY AND THE LEARNERSHIP?

A friend of mine informed me about a Facebook post that she was came across, in which the learnership in question was being advertised. She put me up to speed with the post and I made my own follow ups, in which I conducted my own research about the legitimacy of the academy. When I verified the academy, I made the decision to apply for the learnership

WHAT MADE YOU ENROLL FOR THE NEW VENTURE CREATION LEARNERSHIP?

At the time, I was unemployed and looking to find a job. When I came across this learnership, I found that this could be a good way to source my time to something worthwhile, as I would be learning something new to me and being shaped to venture into the working world with new vital skills that will lead me to the career path that I see myself. I also found that while unemployed, it would be important to partake in opportunities like these so that I can educate myself outside of the normal traditional route of further education, while also improving my resume.

SINCE YOU STARTED YOUR NEW VENTURE CREATION LEARNERSHIP, WHAT ARE THE IMPORTANT TAKEAWAYS THAT YOU’VE LEARNT?

Being part of the learnership, I’ve learnt how to communicate effectively in the business sense, how to work well under pressure and gained much needed work experience – experience that I will take with me when I venture into the working world and when I open a business. This learnership also taught me how to operate a business on a day-to-day basis and how to identify a possible business venture that the economy or market needs at that point in time. Studying through the learnership can be hard at times but it has taught me a lot about focusing on the end goal, determination and constantly finding ways to always stay motivated.

WOULD YOU RECOMMEND TRAINING OR TAKING UP A LEARNERSHIP THAT IS PROVIDED BY SBK TRAINING ACADEMY?

I would most definitely recommend it, as it was through SBK Training Academy that I have found something I find great interest in and see myself having career longevity in. The academy and the learnership facilitators are people that take a great amount of time and care into ensuring that each person is molded into the best version of themselves through their teachings – its like having your own personal mentor! Through this experience, I learnt a lot about myself and realized that constantly challenging myself is what will help me improve on all aspects of my life and in my career.
